Kathy Kalinowski,
MGA, MT (ASCP), an expert in medical laboratory optimization, is the founder and president of ProSource Lab Consulting, LLC.
Kathy Kalinowski, MGA, MT (ASCP), an expert in medical laboratory optimization, is the founder and president of ProSource Lab Consulting, LLC. The company focus is to ensure compliant and profitable laboratory services that will contribute to high quality patient care. Prior to forming ProSource Lab Consulting, Kathy held positions as director and regional manager at Vital Diagnostics in the Total Lab Care division for 16 years. Kathy also has academic experience from the University of Maryland Medical School, Department of Medical and Research Technology and is currently a guest lecturer at Rutgers University, School of Health Related Professions.
Throughout her career in laboratory medicine, Kathy has specialized in the ongoing application of up to date research in the industry to expand her knowledge base. Always striving to achieve excellence in the workplace, she has continually added value to the organizations she has been involved with. Training and mentoring became her trademark as evidenced by the many programs that she developed and presented as a technologist, supervisor, educator and consultant. These programs span topics such as CLIA, OSHA, laboratory implementation, laboratory essentials, phlebotomy skills and maximizing laboratory profitability.
Kathy received her Bachelors of Science in Medical Technology at Towson University and her Masters of Health Care Administration at University of Maryland. She is accredited through the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) and is a member of the American Society for Clinical Laboratory Science (ASCLS), the American Association for Clinical Chemistry (AACC) and ASCP.
Motivated to help empower individuals realize their health goals, Kathy's goal is to improve the health and well-being of all by achieving excellence in laboratory testing.
